Mark Cox
With 35 years of experience navigating New Zealand and global digital health IT markets with and through government and commercial sectors, I offer a wealth of health and technical knowledge and expertise, and demonstrate proven results in helping to grow successful health IT businesses.
My career began in technical area programming, and through this, my passion for health IT and a vision to provide hi-tech solutions (both software and hardware) grew and lead me to enter into the healthcare industry.
I’ve had the opportunity to work with various clients over the years, both within NZ and around the world. Living in the UK for 2 years and Singapore for 3 years, I’ve helped health IT businesses and healthcare providers to successfully develop and adopt world-class, advanced technology that has enabled them to thrive in an ever-changing environment.
I’m devoted to helping improve the health and wellbeing of communities by developing and using advanced technologies. That’s why my goal is to see New Zealand software companies and health projects succeeding and health systems providing better health services and facilities through the use of these technologies.
A combination of my strong business acumen and passion for the industry, continues to motivate me to challenge the status quo and grow both new and evolving hi-tech businesses whose products and services will make a real difference to the lives of those delivering and receiving healthcare.
